Fall and Winter Retreats
LVR is pleased to provide the perfect environment for Outdoor Adventure Education and Winter Retreats for all ages. Call the Retreat Office about scheduling time for your group in 2005.
Scheduling Your Own Retreat
Lutheran Valley Retreat is a year round retreat, that can accommodate groups up to 110 participants all year round. We offer customized retreats that can be adjusted to your needs. With enough information in advance, we can develop your Bible Studies and facilitate your entire retreat. All you have to do is bring chaperones and show up. The activities we can offer or set up for you are: team building activities, high ropes course, down-hill or cross-country skiing (December—March working through other companies), snow shoeing, broom ball, tubing, excellent food, climbing and rappelling, hiking, mountain biking, white water rafting (through Noah’s Ark in Buena Vista), and many other programs to support your needs. Summer Groups
Bring your Sunday School Class, Youth Group, Confirmation Class or just a bunch of friends. We encourage groups to attend summer camp sessions with their adult leaders. They may observe or join their group during programs and meals, but campers will be incorporated in the regular camp session. Campers must sign up for sessions appropriate to their age and will be placed in cabin groups according to regular session guidelines. Adult leaders will be placed in either staff housing or with a cabin group. Please call or e-mail the LVR office to set up a contract.
