LVR has a brand New Building !

LVR's brand new multi-purpose building includes restrooms and showers, nurses station, and meeting hall.

LVR has always been a place that provides experiential activities for people of all ages so that they can know and share Jesus Christ. This new building will allow us to continue to provide intergenerational ministry. It will also give us to the opportunity to accommodate large groups for men’s, women’s, single’s, and youth retreats. Thank you for all who helped us open doors to bigger ministry opportunities by your many volunteer hours, your financial support, and most importantly, your prayers.

LVR is a rustic, wilderness camp located at the base of Cedar Mountain in the Pike’s Peak National Forest. Because we are located within the national forest, our facilities easily adapt to hiking, fishing, climbing, rappelling, and other outdoor activities. Our programs and goals are designed to lead people to a closer relationship with our Lord and Savior, Christ Jesus.

Our Base Camp facilities include nine heated bunk-style cabins for sleeping, Firs Cafeteria, Glaeser Lodge and the Nature Center meeting rooms, a large Polevilion and a modern shower/restroom facility. Maximum capacity at the Base Camp is 100 people.

Our Outpost Camp includes three open-air cabins, a rustic wood stove kitchen where some or all meals care prepared by LVR Staff, and a rustic outhouse. Showers and heated bathrooms are available at the Base Camp shower/restroom facility. Maximum capacity at the outpost is 30 people.

Our Cliff Dwelling Camp includes four open-air lean-tos, and a rustic outhouse. Showers and heated bathrooms are available at the Base Camp shower/restroom facility. Maximum capacity is 24 people.

Our Family Campground is made up of seventeen camp sites, eight with electric hookups, fresh water supply late May to early September, Picnic Shelter, and outhouse. Our Group Campground, located in the same area can accommodate groups of 60-80.

An LVR Staff facilitated Challenge Course Program is available. This is excellent for group/team building of all ages, from Youth Groups to Professionals. Plan at least a half-day if intending to use this option. Other LVR Staff facilitated programs include rappelling, rock climbing, hayrides, archery, campfires/sing-a-long, orienteering, and a beautiful three-hour hike/climb up Cedar Mountain. Other activities available at LVR include fishing, volleyball, basketball, field games, hiking, Frisbee golf, horseshoes, and more depending on your imagination.
